1. Initiates feasibility study and proposal to examine possible areas for automation with potential for cost saving and quality improvement opportunities.
2. Performs a wide range of mechanical, electrical & electronic operations associated with the design, development, set-up and adjustment of all types of automatic machine and equipment.
3. Designs and develops appropriate equipments and systems for such purpose.
4. Ensures that all automatic equipments are in compliance with safety, health and environmental standards.
5. Plays a key role in design, development and installation of automatic equipment and systems and manages such projects for success.
6. Sources and identifies suitable automation design and manufacturing suppliers in the region.
7. Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills to development explain problems, train others in the department and to maintain records of maintenance performed on each machine.
8. Supports machine maintenance and necessary means in Auto machine/Packaging shop floor to ensure the machines or equipments in good conditions.
9. Examines and brings in applicable new process and advanced technology to the company in order to enhance Advanced manufacturing process.
10. Plays actively role in the design, development and trouble shooting of all automatic equipments built by either local or oversea suppliers.
11. Participates in various cost / process improvement projects.
12. Carries out other related duties.

• B.S. degree or equivalent in mechanical / electrical engineering.

• Minimum 7 years experience in automatic machine design or development in which at least one year in a management position of significant responsibility.

• Projects include the X3 IMS, support for cost savings projects, and possibly support for new cartridge assembly machine design for a new product launch
• Skillful in CAD 3D modeling and 2D drawing with Solidworks 2018 (English version)

• Good in English communication.
